I love everything you said. I was there since day one and Riot was such a good company. They cared about the community and made such fun and heartwarming contents. I seriously miss Summoner's Showcase. I was always looking forward to seeing those videos. It was such a relaxing time. I remember being able to play without any stress. But seriously, Riot has fallen so hard. They are literally nothing compared to what they used to be. Nowadays they literally don't give a crap at all whatsoever about the community. Literally they just focus 100% on what makes them the most money. The banning system is absolutely ridiculous... They don't even watch the bans anymore, it's literally all automatic. Literally, you can be as toxic as you possibly want, as long as you avoid certain key words then you're fine. Its straight out disgusting... They literally implements more ways to help people troll. Riot literally wants to make this community more and more toxic. As a player who's been there since day one, I can see Riot literally doesn't give half a rat's ass about the community at all anymore. I used to love Riot, but now Riot is my most HATEST gaming company out there. There is literally no other gaming company that is worse than Riot... I wish I could go back in those good old days, but those days are long gone.

I clearly do not reminisce this the same way you do! I remember LoL being compared to Call of Duty in terms of toxicity even back in 2010. It was mostly just insults because most didn’t understand the game, but many were coming from games like D.O.T.A the original mod on Warcraft 3, or Heroes of Newerth which was considered the « serious » moba back in the days. Those people had knowledge others didn’t have and used it to flame people, and they gladly played with you to show you that you were way outta their lvl. More or less the same as today if you ask me… Plus you had people griefing hard once they got killed because they didn’t know better, remember that Shaco who didn’t get ahead early, sold all his items and bought wards and wandered in base putting wards everywhere? Keep in mind I play since Alpha, and even then I remember there was toxicity! For me, Tyler1 is popular because he represents most LoL players since the beginning of the game! The state of the game 4 years or so ago, I could say up to today cause it didn’t change, makes sense because it always have been this way, it’s just the fan base is way bigger now, plus the streamers and everything, it’s just became undeniable

I used to love league but changing how one of my favorite characters works and constantly nerfing everything made fun ruined constantly.

Holy shit man. Game looked WAY BETTER back then. Hero models, minions, inventory, items, map.... Fucking hell, everything was prettier.

The obsession of ranking with huge ego kill a game in my opinion. Game should be for fun and not ranking. And if you want to say, stay in casu and don't play rank, well the problem is even in casu (unrank), you will be put with rank people and they will trashtalk about your rank if you are loosing your lane etc... I remember while playing top (i'm still and will be forever unrank btw) fighting a plat guy in a Renekton mirror match too and was winning (and win the game) but i was like wtf is this guy in my game? In conclusion putting rank in game will kill the game in my opinion bcs of people ego...
